Start your day off with positive vibes to support health and fertility with this balanced, ‘Nutritious and Delicious’ Iodine Rich, Antioxidant Shot.
Pineapple – a favourite fruit when it comes to fertility and a good source of iodine too. Pineapples contain the anti-inflammatory enzyme Bromelain important for conditions such as Endometriosis. Bromelain has an anticoagulant effect – so great for blood flow too.
Kiwi Fruit – maybe small but they pack a great nutritional punch! Kiwi Fruit contain one of the highest vitamin C content of any fruit. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants play a key role in keeping our bodies energized, cleansed and invigorated. From vitamin C and E to folate, kiwifruit has it all — and then some! They also contain a good amount of fibre too.
Milk (Cow’s Milk) – We can obtain around 50% of our daily-recommended intake of iodine just by drinking a glass of milk (cow’s milk) a day! ( If you don’t drink cow’s milk go for a milk of your choice – this is also delicious with coconut water or apple juice).
Natural live yoghurt – not only a great source of iodine, protein and calcium- great for your gut too!

How to make your Shot:
Ingredients: (makes 2 shots)
- 2 kiwi fruit(peeled and chopped)
- 4oz Pineapple chunks
- 150ml Milk (full fat)
- 4 tbsp Natural yoghurt (live)
- 3-4 mint leaves (optional – but tasty!)
Combine all ingredients together in a blender – pour over ice. Enjoy!
